Carli Lloyd with an amazing goal and the USA leads 1-0.

Chile flopping all over the pitch.

^^^^They sure are! That’s the weakest yellow card ever. She barely touched her. The world is still salty over that 13-0 win.

One thing title IX in this country got right. Because we have to have equal scholarships schools take on money pits like women’s soccer so the USA gets a better women’s team than the rest of the world.
I wonder if any of them care to recognize the advantages with which they have been given

if you looked at Carli Lloyd, knowing nothing else about her, and had to guess where she was from...any halfway intelligent person would immediately guess New Jersey

USA with a back up squad today....for all the haters out there who complained during the Thailand game. Alex Morgan and 6 other players not playing today. I hope the players playing today celebrate their asses off too!!

It's over, we're going to the sweet 16!

How was that not a yellow card on Chile? That was dirty

Are you sure this is the backup squad? I know Alex Morgan is a beast but I'm sure there are better (younger) players than Rapinoe

Alex Morgan, Rose Lavelle, Dahklemper, Rapinoe, O’Hara are all out today. While Lloyd seems like a starter, she has been moved to the bench. Suaerbraun, Press and Bryan are all reserves.
But with soccer it’s game to game so who knows?

I don’t know THAT much lol. I just watched a little pregame and they were talking about the substitutions being made today. That’s all

Serious question, is the USA the only country that actually supports and cares about women's international soccer?
From what I can tell, whenever team USA plays at the world cup, basically no matter where it is, the game sells out... And it's all US supporters.
I heard the fox team talking the other day about how the France game was sold out that was an accomplishment. Well, no shite, they're the hosts and they have a good team. But apparently none of these other games besides USA and France are selling out 30,000 seat stadiums.
