Knicks will sweep if they win tomorrow. Wemby, Fox and Vassell were garbage last night. I think Spurs win tomorrow, but Knicks will win the series. The Spurs have lost a home game in every round.

I was pretty much expecting this kind of performance out of the Spurs after their hard fought emotional series with Oklahoma City and with the Knicks waiting and resting.
The Spurs were obviously tired at the end of the game and didn’t match the energy of the Knicks.
I’m expecting them to bounce back in the next couple of games

The Knicks bigs willing to play defense on Wemby… Chet single handily lost the series for the Thunder

Spurs are all young, I figured OKC would beat them due to inexperience .
Seemed to be a factor late in the 4th quarter last night.
Wemby got nervous and the threes weren't falling.
KAT and Brunson are veterans at this stage in their careers comparatively

Well, Chet on Wemby was hot skeleton-on-skeleton action.

That game was kind of expected. It reminded me of the Magic in '95 against Houston. Really young team, coming off a tough 7 game series against the Pacers, came out in game 1 and pretty much blew their wad early and didn't have enough at the end.
They played really sloppy last night, lots of unforced turnovers. Adjustments need to be made but I fully expect for them to rebound and tie this up in game 2. Wemby is driven and I predict he'll have a special game tomorrow.

Wemby is playing against to grown men. Plus the Knicks can match the physicality of the Spurs at every position and are all vets.
Brunson is very impressive and the Knicks as a whole have been lights out on both sides of the ball for 12 straight games in the playoffs

Watched the game last night. Thought KAT running back on every play was huge. Dude looked like he wanted to win, looked fresher. Wemby was walking back damn near every possession in the 4th. Those kinds of things matter.

8 days of rest vs 3…

One team has fresh legs Wemby looked exhausted last night

Agreed. At the end of the game, their last 2 possessions involved him getting the ball near mid court!
The worst coaching decision I've ever witnessed. How did they think it was smart to give a weak 7 footer, the ball so far from the goal.
Result, 1 turnover trying to dribble, and 1 terrible 25+footer missed 3.
In crunch time, if that's your go to plan, your team is fricked

Should have been fine after having nearly 4 full days off. If that's the case though it will only get worse with 1 day in between most of these games.

Except now, unlike the situation with game one, both teams get the same amount of rest between games.

4 days was the perfect amount of rest. If anything the Knicks should have lost this first game since they been off so long and most of us figured they would be rusty. Except for Brunson, they came out hot and Brunson turned it on at the end. It just feels like the Knicks experience is a bigger deal than most of us thought it would be.

Eight days is a lot better. Plus, as mentioned before San Antonio just finished with a very emotional hard fought Game 7 against the defending champs.
That definitely factored in
