If Tiger told Watson that, then he is just being selfish. No way is Tiger ready to play.

I agree with that. I think EGO is playing a big part of that for Tiger as well. Regardless of his world ranking his game is off right now.

Do y'all really think he won't be picked and won't play? Lmao. He's Tiger Woods. He's playing. And will probably suck mule cock. But he's playing.

I think he should be picked bc he's Tiger fricking Woods... On any given day he can still be the old Tiger... We're already missing Dustin Johnson

but it aint up to me

I can buy something like this. If they want to find a way to not include Tiger that is still helping him "save face", then I'm fine with that. The guy does deserve much respect for what he has done for golf.

But no way should Tiger Woods even be in the discussion for being on this Ryder Cup team. When he had to quit in the middle of the round two weeks ago that should have been the end of discussion. He is either A, too hurt to play on this team and you can't afford to have him injured during the matches. Or B, he just sucks so bad right now that he will get blitzed 8 and 7 in head to head competition.

Tiger was under par in his last 9 holes of a major championship. He is good to go.

As shitty as he's playing you'd think he'd do the right thing and politely turn it down.

Yep, but he's got a pretty bad back issue that he has not dealt with properly.

On any given swing he can become the Tiger we saw stink it up like a club pro at the PGA.

My gut says Watson will cave to the pressure and pick Tiger, and Tiger's ego will not allow him to decline.

Let's face it: even when Tiger was healthy, he didn't exactly light the world on fire in the Ryder Cup. His 13-14-2 record is very pedestrian.

Gonna be shades of Lanny picking his buddy Curtis Strange a few years back when the whole world knew Curtis wasn't up to it.

I don't think tiger has it in him to gracefully turn down a captains pick. Just not in his nature.

Great in theory but I don't think he would step aside. Right now he can't help and should be left off. If he was healthy, yes he'd be a no brainer pick.

That would be some Beta shite right there. If Uncle Sam ask you to pick up the sticks and defend the links against the Euro trash then by God baw you do it

But he is really good in singles 4-1-1. It is time we take a note from the Euros and ride pairs and teams the whole weekend and not worried about playing everyone/getting tired. The Euros hid two players until singles last year and still beat our arse

Ya think people will watch just cause he is on there, just to watch him screw up the U.S.A's chances. I will watch anyway.

I will be less likely to watch if Tiger is chosen and he's not healthy. Why do I want to watch a guy limping around the course costing us points?
