I think so. Have you seen their secondary? Looks to be one of the best in the Big 12.

Have you seen their roster? It’s about 10% Louisiana kids. They’ll probably win the B12 with that.

When did Kansas become a part of LSU?

Les Miles used to coach at LSU so information and questions about Les belong on the Rant. Obviously

The lack of spring ball and summer workouts make this a crap shoot right now.

To be in perspective “one of the best secondaries in the big 12” doesn’t scare you too much does it?

define what you would qualify as significant improvement? Becoming bowl eligible or actually competing for a division/conference title? If it's the former then yes possibly. If the latter, no. They only won three games last year, so getting to 6 would be significant IMO/

It would be very significant. They haven't gotten close to 6 since they fired Mangino.

KU was a bounce or two away from beating WVU and Texas last year, but really fell off a cliff in November, so it's not like they were riding a wave of momentum and optimism into the offseason.

I'm not sure they have the roster yet to show significant improvement record-wise. If Les manages to find 6 wins, that would be a hell of an accomplishment.

No, we'll actually take a step back this year. That's to be expected though because we lost a lot and don't even have an FCS-level QB on the roster. WR and RB will be solid but outside of that will be yikes. Won't be Les' fault though. Probably won't make significant improvements until his 4th year at the *earliest* the way the current roster is built.

I think they will win about 5 games, just missing out on being bowl eligible. At least 1 or 2 will be very close games that they couldve should've won.

Based on who the OP is this was meant to bash Les Miles than have a legitimate discussion on the state of the KU football team

Kansas probably doesn’t have enough cash to keep the lights on at their stadium after the cost of COVID 19 testing.

Really? An overall Top 5 cbb program for the last 40+ years doesn't have enough money...?
C'mon, man!
