That dickhead always acts like he doesn't care about college football, like he doesn't even know the schools.

I think he said something similar about Alabama when Saban was hired. Turned out well for us, maybe it will for LSU as well

Luckily "rooting" for something has zero actual effect.

the guy is a racist and for the past 5 or so years has been very angry. you can tell tony has been sick of his shite for years. wilbon also tries to act like he is some hard arse dude from the south side chicago ghettos.

the dude went to a prestigious prep school in the west side of chicago and is a soft turd

what's their record since the Alabama loss in the title game?

I think "title game" is the key term here. He made that title game while running through a brutal schedule, won another title game, won multiple conference championships, recruited tremendous players to LSU, won the vast majority of his games, and even turned down his alma mater twice to stay at LSU. He did a lot of this in a division Nick Saban also inhabits while proving that he is one of the few coaches capable of beating NS multiple times w/o some Cam/JFF caliber playmaker. LSU then created a media circus around his "firing" only to retain him so they could can him four games into the next season. It looks bad to everyone but LSU fans.

Amazing that opposing SEC fans are the biggest Les advocates. Gee, I wonder why.

this is a general thesis on why the SECr is so terrible

"HAHA OMG LES IS A JOKE< YALL WILL NEVER CONTEND WITH HIM AT THE HELM"

*les gets fired

"OMG YALL FIRED A TOP 5 CFB COACH, YALL ARE A JOKE AND WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REPLACE HIM"

Yea it's totally fear. Schools that fire very successful coaches almost always come up with someone better. Just ask Nebraska...they're good at that kind of thing. Enjoy your coordinator or G5 HC that isn't Herman and your sub .500 seasons that Les would never have had in a million years.

Wilbon loathes the SEC; that's the real reason.

Is Les actually black? That's the only reason I could see for Wilbon being this pissed.

Worse than stupid comparison
How many top athletes come from Nebraska.
The reason Nebraska was great for a decade was the racial tension in the south. How many star athletes left Louisiana to play for Nebraska during that period? How many star athletes from Nebraska played anywhere any decade?

My question to them is would you take Les as HC right now?

They are either lying if they say yes, or Kentucky fans.
