Agree. Washington's OL won't be able to hold up against the Michigan D.
Add to that the UW running back they have leaned on all year is hurt and I would be surprised if he even sees the field.
UM will come after Penix and force him to beat them.
If he does (he has one hell of a WR in #1) then a tip of the cap to him and the OL.
I say Michigan by 7-10 but it stays close and UW may even have the lead at some point.

I’m taking Michigan. Those who win the LOS, wins the game.

I LOVE both sides of Michigan’s lines and they’ll be able to keep Penix off the field long enough.

I don’t remember who said it, but someone described Michigan as a python. They just wrap you up like they want and the just keep squeezing until you’re done. I think that’s a perfect description.

How is that even remotely relevant at this point in the season? Especially after they just beat Alabama?

Watched Washington all year and even when they're playing great, they can't put anyone away...because their D is subpar.

Washington will get limited possessions and if they don't score on them, Michigan will just suffocate them....I can see Michigan having double the time of possession.

Michigan didn't build their defense to stop Bama, it was to stop Ohio State and great QB/WR play... Which they have done with ease the last two years.

Washington is the perfect opponent for Michigan. This game will be a letdown after the semifinals as Michigan wins comfortably.

Rooting for UDUB but Michigan's running game and defensive depth give them the edge.

Penix and those WR will keep them in it.

I think Michigan either wins an ugly game with defense or Washington pulls away late and the score looks slightly more lopsided than maybe it actually was.

If I had to bet I would probably bet on Michigan but I’m just excited to get to watch this

I think Michigan wins it but I hope Washington does.

Before the playoffs started I posted what I hoped and what I thought would happen.

Hope was Michigan and Washington would win the semis and Washington would win it all.

I expected that Bama and Texas would win the semis and Bama would win it all.

So far this CFP my hopes are outshining my expectations.

Does Michigan have the corners to match up with Washington?

I like UW to win outright.

I like their resume better and they have a chip on their shoulder that’s not based on cheating accusations.

Penix and those WRs are in a different stratosphere than Bama’s passing game.

I apparently suck at this cause I picked Bama and Texas. But I say Washington wins.

Not sure McCarthy can score with them.

Not that I know the ends and outs of either roster but I like Michigan Monday night.

I expect UM’s front seven to frustrate Penix enough that they’re able to win TOP and wear down the Huskie D with Corum.

It's odd that a program with good history in UW and a blue blood in UM are matching up for the title and it feels like a novelty

I'm pretty excited about it TBH

As good a matchup as Texas was for Washington, I think Michigan is equally as bad. Michigan's corners are elite and probably the only team other than maybe Bama that can matchup with UW's receivers. Dillon Johnson being hurt is a big deal for UW.

I'll say 34-21 Michigan

Washington didn't give up a sack against Texas.

Alabama with three 360 pound linemen, gave up six sacks against Michigan.

Michigan to cover and the under.

Penix and his receivers are awesome, but they were otherworldly against Texas. There's no way they repeat that level of success on contested catches this week.

You still think this even after what happened in the Sugar Bowl the other night against Texas's front 7?
