For example, UCLA has great basketball history, but USC dominates in football (That said, for all intents and purposes, UCLA would be far from be the ultimate little brother in college sports, however),

UCLA and USC also made sure they were both taken care of when bolting for the Big 10.

OU ignored pleas from their state government and left OSU behind. Same could be said for Oregon and Washington leaving their little bros.

A&M has always been the poster child for this, and also were left out of the discussions to bring Texas to the SEC which is just dirty

Has to be one of these:

Auburn
Texas A&M
Oklahoma State

All cow colleges. All have severe little brother complex.

Vandy doesn't care enough to qualify as a little brother

You have to be invested for there to be a rivalry

A&M is the obvious answer. OK State and Auburn too.

In Texas, I’d add Texas Tech is the little brother to both A&M and Texas. But it’s more like step-brother because nobody actually cares about them.

GaTech doesn’t really care about it like that though. Not like how Texas A&M and others care.

Oh yea. The 4000 undergrad CS students care so much. My friend I made while in grad school went there for undergrad and masters and is a lsu fan. I rarely met anyone that cares about it. They rather be the superior academic school. Maybe the older generation cares. But the younger generation doesn’t all that much.

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. /thread

They send demands to espn that they be referred to as Louisiana not at Lafayette.

They sold Bama gear at the academy on Ambassador in 2012.

Etc.

Auburn qualifies as Alabama’s little brother,

They had a great run recently with Saban that we certainly took a back seat in. Prior to him we were beating them routinely dating back to the 80s with Pat Dye.

Even with their recent epic run with saban we beat them more than any other program in the country.

As for basketball we all saw what happened yesterday.

I never liked that they did that. Everyone I know still calls them ULL in Louisiana.

Everyone has already said A&M, but I want to reiterate them because at no other place does the entire culture and identity of the university revolve around hating another university. It’s truly bizarre.

Tech is still over 20 wins better against UGA than Oklahoma State is against OU.

To put it in another perspective, even Tulane has more wins against LSU in football.

Step-brother to Texas, sure. However, the Tech-A&M series has historically been pretty even. I think Tech has had a winning record against A&M since the 50s or 60s.
