Perfect opportunity for the saints to trade Jake Haener for a #2 round pick

Don Strock or Jim Jensen.
F That franchise. I lived there for 3 years and hated every single one of those douche bags. The problem with Miami starts at the top

What's the point of bringing in some washed up back up if Tua is done, rather just stay with Thompson, trade Hill, tank the season away and begin the rebuild with some high picks.

If only Watson wasn’t up to his old tricks, it would be a primo Jameis landing spot.

Jameis is with Cleveland. They may need him this season.

Mac Jones actually makes the most sense. Probably would fit well in Miami with Mcdaniels since his job would focus on quickness and accuracy over needing a strong arm or being a “playmaker.” And they could get him cheap. Jones isn’t the answer but might be a good piece to hold the fort down while they figure out who could potentially be a franchise qb.

Would be nice if the Dolphins were that stupid, but I doubt they are.

It would have been a lot more convenient if Tua had made it a few more weeks so they'd have more choice amongst mediocre reclamation quarterbacks that have just lost their starting role, like Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones or Justin Fields.

A team with championship aspirations isn't going to give up a mediocre backup, so options like Carson Wentz or Josh Dobbs are out.

Which leaves some bottom of the barrel options like Jarrett Stidham or Brett Rypien. May as well stick with Skylar Thompson at that point.
