Who are the greatest option quarterbacks in CFB history?

These could be QBs who ran the option out of classic formations such as the Wishbone or Wing T, as well as QBs who ran the option out of more modern formations such as the spread.
Here are some of the candidates I have come up with:
Tommie Frazier, Nebraska
Tim Tebow, Florida
Vince Young, Texas
Cam Newton, Auburn
Erich Crouch, Nebraska
Turner Gill, Nebraska
Jack Mildren, Oklahoma
Jamelle Holieway, Oklahoma
Pat White, West Virginia
Tony Rice, Notre Dame
Steve Davis, Oklahoma
Keenan Reynolds, Navy
Major Harris, West Virginia
J.C. Watts, Oklahoma
Darian Hagan, Colorado

You may not call him an “option” QB but…..
Nick Marshall - Auburn
Was the perfect QB for the Gus Malzhan system in 2013-2014, and it wasn’t his throwing that made him a great QB, it was the way he handled the run options - either handing off to Tre Mason or keep for a big gain. He also had his best performances in some huge games - “Kick Six” and “Prayer in Jordan- Hare” being the most notable.

Without looking back at stats, I feel like Woody Dantzler should be on the list

Cam Newton, Auburn
I think Burrow could have been an excellent option qb too but obviously not worth risking getting hurt.

I feared him even more than I feared Cam Newton if you can believe it.

You had it right with your first pick, Tommy Frazier

If I have to win one game, I’m taking Vince Young.
Old school option, I’m liking the guys from Nebraska and OU.

Eric Crouch, Nebraska
In spite of winning the Heisman, I don’t think Crouch gets the recognition he deserves compared to Frazier.
*Record as QB*
Crouch: 33-5
Frazier: 33-3
*Total Yards*
Crouch: 7,915
Frazier: 5,476
*Touchdowns*
Crouch: 88
Frazier: 79
Crouch played against tougher competition with lesser talent. By the time Crouch became the QB in the late ‘90s, OU had hired Stoops and finally started regaining form after the worst stretch of football in program history during Frazier’s career. Nebraska also had to deal with Texas and other teams in the Big 12, as well as 2001 Miami in a national championship.

Crouch didn't win two national championships as a starter. Also...those stats are misleading considering Frazier missed half of the 1994 regular season with blood clot issues in his legs.

Dak Prescott should probably be on this list.

guys are way different type of qb, than the rest of your list.
these guys could run a read option, run the ball, but they also sat in the pocket.
other groupd of guys are 100% option qb's

Another one to add to the list is Ricky Dobbs, Navy.
