Where do you suppose they would put it?

A super bowl in MIA would also cost you probably 3x more than the same SB in NOLA.

This is true.

I am convinced NOLA is > if you are going to be in town 1-2 days. Anymore than that and it is Miami and the > the number of days you plan to be in town, the wider the gap gets.

Like I said, I have probably been to NOLA 20 times to party and been there even more to that when my uncle used to live there (my parents are on the gulf coast as well). That is probably more times than many in this thread that don't live in NOLA.

NOLA is great for 1-2 nights of partying. Miami is great for a hell of a lot more than that.

BTW, Sunlife and the Dolphins are moving ahead with $400M in renovations it appears. It won't be long before the SB is back as well as the BCSNCG.

New Orleans is the best by far.

Stadium gets loud as shite and people get extra wasted there before and after due to proximity to the quarter.

New Orleans for the Sugar Bowls and MNC games has almost killed me for these reasons.

You are probably still upset from the 21-0 epic arse whipping LSU received in the Dome.

Domes take out all arguments and complaints of weather.

The NFL makes the rules...so, the question...'why they haven't gone back there' is a question...why they think it's important to so stipulate if they in fact what a team in L.A.?

They can make/unmake whatever rules they want.

The owners are the "NFL" so of course the owners will decide that the Super Bowl be played where they own teams, not in some city without an NFL team.

I actually agree with most of that. If you are trying to combine the super bowl with a vacation then MIA makes a lot of sense. But as far as the game itself and the subsequent celebration, I don't think you can beat Nola.

Tempe is pretty good cause if you plan it right, you can take an hour flight to Las Vegas and party at the hard rock in the nude fountain after the game.

Lots of things to do outside of NOLA too. Sportsman paradise.

Oh, I agree. But I would take a 6 mile 15 minute cab ride to the Hardrock instead. Better party facility than the 15 best bars and clubs of the FQ put together. Not to mention a vastly supperior casino than Harrahs.

You have no credibility. This thread is a huge indictment of your tastes and ability to function as a human.

The FQ sucks if you're a local. I imagine as an out of towner in for the SB, it's awesome

New Orleans is the only walking city that hosts the thing. You literally don't need to ever get in a car once you get here for the game.

That only makes it the best, and hence, why a lot people that go to every super bowl think it should be here every single year.

And to the guy complaining about a dome, I'm sure New York in the outdoors will be nice, and the rain in Miami was fun.

And the Superdome renovations have been great, and they'll continue getting better, especially with the Mercedes deal

The Hardrock is a fricking chain & while one mite well be awesome, it is still a chain. Take a poll: how many would like to party at a Hardrock over a party at Pat O'Brien's; or any 4 other clubs on Frenchman St?
