Apparently the mile is important in your logic.

Baseball requires some amount of athleticism, but it's much more of a game of skill than a test of ability.

Baseball is the most athletic, when you encompass the full scope of what an athlete is. Which includes the usually overlooked hand eye and General coordination that other sports lack.

Baseball requires a unique type of athleticism. Most football and basketball players would look ridiculous on a baseball field but most baseball players could at least look fluid enough at basketball or football to be passable.

I think the problem is we don't have a consensus on what "athletic" means.

Hand-eye coordination is important, but ping pong players have that. Heck, playing video games requires hand-eye coordination.

A 6'5 280lb man running a 4.7 is one of the scariest things on the planet.

Hockey is actually...Your hand eye coordination has to be at its peak at all times on the rink if you want to find, control, and progress the puck. You do all that while on skates, while others are barreling down at you. Your awareness, conditioning and endurance, and strength have to be at an absolute peak, and that's just for someone on the wings, center, or defense. The goalie is a whole different animal.

Hockey players could do Football, Baseball, Soccer, and Basketball...Very few of those sports' athletes could even stay up on skates

You obviously dont understand the topic. I think basketball contains both the most athletic people, and the most unathletic athletes. Your comprehension is lacking.

I do have a lot of respect for hockey. I can't even see the puck during games and highlights.

They play such a fast paced sport with so much precision...The ability to stop on dime like they do is almost difficult for some to do on their feet, and these guys are doing it at high speeds on ice

Damn. You should do promos for the sport. You've got me pumped up for some hockey, and I hardly watch it.

I really wish it was bigger down here. I use to play in middle school and some of high school, and it's not only a fun sport to play, but is challenging.

It's also one of the best sports to watch live with a group of friends and a cold beer.

I really suggest giving it a shot this season and see what you think

A buddy of mine plays hockey. I would love to try it but I wouldn't know where to start.

I actually played in a roller hockey league when I was younger, and I had a blast. I was actually pretty good. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't remember the rules, though. That's what keeps me from watching hockey now. I don't know the rules.
