Bryce Harper.

Nowhere close to worth his contract.

Average is not the only stat that defines a star. Bregman has an excellent OBP, OPS, and SLG. He is also top 20 in RBI and top 20 in HR. From a production standpoint for a team he is a star. Also, I love how defense is forgotten when defining a star. He is an incredible left side defender. In short, batting average no longer defines "star", and to say he is just not that good is laughable.

His defense is terrible

Your position is that Bregman’s Defense is terrible? Interesting view point considering he was a gold glove finalist last year.

Not to mention he’s been playing with half a AAA team

Will Myers hands down. Most overrated player in the game. Needs to just quit or get sent down. Dude does not not know what situational hitting means. Thinks he's Mark McGuire with a guy on third and 1 out.

I dunno brother. Anyone that looks like they're good at baseball is usually good. It's a hard sport to play at a high level.

Even before his struggles this year, I never thought Chris Archer was that good of a pitcher. I saw him a lot in Tampa and he always seemed very hittable despite having great stuff.

Bregman is in a slump, and has felt like he has underachieved all season, yet his numbers are All-Star good, and he plays good defense.

When it's all said and done, you'll just be another flea on his nutsack.

Mario Mendoza. They actually name a stat in his honor.

I have nothing to back this up but I just think that David Price is very overrated.

Marcell Ozuna- his defense is atrocious

This list starts and ends with Harper. And I’m a fan of his but the dude has been terrible

As for KB, he has an MVP under his belt and is “ho-humming” his way to .930 ops. Think people are sleeping on him cause he was hurt all last year and forgot about him

For me, Alex Bregman tops my list, I think any list of this type needs to begin and end with him. He is not the star that he is portrayed to be. His stats scream above average, not star. Not even hitting .260 on the year.

This is a bad take, and you should feel bad

ETA: According to fWar, he’s tied for 2nd, .1 behind Arenado for most valuable 3B in baseball.

Obviously not star-like
