With 15 teams in each league it almost has to. When they do add two teams which cities should get a team? Las Vegas? Portland?

Never say never.
But in this case, never.

Hopefully never. Not enough major league talent as it is.

I'd rather they reduce the season to 81 games.

I agree with that but MLB doesn't want interleague games everyday

Bc of an odd number?

That's not a good enough reason for the owners to start splitting the revenues they do share with another 2 owners.

I thought that was the main reason they moved a team to the AL

I wish the US could support 32 franchises in every sport, but it is not financially feasible.

Perfect squares of 2 make for nicely balanced schedules and playoffs.

There isn't a market that baseball should or HAS to be in

Don't see it at all frankly

If the Marlins contracted after Miami built that stadium, i'm pretty sure that would not be well received. It's bad enough with the product they put on the field, but to spend that much money for NO reason.

With that being said, if MLB offered to repay the city of Miami for that stadium, that's something they'd be tempted by i'm sure.

Maybe MLB will expand into Latin America one day. But for obvious reasons, it won't be in Cuba.

Obviously much would have to change for that to happen

And nothing is changing soon anyway

Castro has spoken recently about opening back up trade with the United States. He acknowledged communism can't work when you can't trade with the only nearby economic superpower and basically said that he was counting on the USSR to be more helpful, but that they didn't see eye to eye on brands of communism. I think Cuba will open back up within the decade
