It's really between Wrigley, Rose Bowl, and MSG. I know there's alot of red Sox fans on here but the Ivy is more iconic than the green monster.

And as far as the Coliseum vs rose Bowl debate goes, while one has hosted the Olympics, the other stages the most iconic bowl game every year along with having world cup finals played there.

**Oh and unfortunately the Superdome is iconic now for the wrong reasons.

For basketball fans, the old Boston Garden was pretty iconic.

Yankee Stadium or the Rose Bowl overall, though.

A stadium is concrete and seats and a host of events. The stadium doesn’t make it great. The experience makes it great.

Therefore, as a Yankees fan for 28 of my 35 years on this planet, I will genuinely say that baseball games at Yankee Stadium kinda suck. I’ve been to several big, expensive ticket games. Multiple Yankee/Sox series in the old and the new stadiums. No matter what, old stadium or new, it felt like a corporate event.

It will pain me to say this somewhat, but Yankees games are a distant third. Wrigley games are in the middle in 2nd place somewhere. Fenway makes me wish I could go back 30 years and change my fan allegiance. My allegiance is to the players. Like I wish I could kick Nomar straight in the dick. But man, Fenway is like Alex Box for the super regionals 81 games per season. Those assholes are still packing the stadium and screaming at the team in the ninth inning whether they are in 1st in the division or last.

Iconic sounds like some shite for TV. The best venue to see a sporting event in the history of America is Fenway Park, and it shouldn’t be debatable.

Oregon’s Hayward Field was pretty iconic for track fans.
frick them for tearing down the old one for this new shite. New stadium is nice but they could’ve built it somewhere else and left the old one alone.

I know I'm in the minority but to me the Rose Bowl Game and the Rose Bowl Stadium are the most overrated mystique in sports. It shut out all but 2 conferences for years which should alienate a lot of people. It's a bland stadium, especially compared to the Coliseum. It's a little brother to USC. I never understood the fascination with it.

This post reeks of envy and somebody who has never been there. The Rose Bowl is without a doubt one of the most iconic stadium in all of sports. There is absolutely NOTHING bland about the setting and setup of the Rose Bowl. Its a truly beautiful experience.

It's a shame what has happened to arenas. MSG and Boston Garden would be slam dunks here if they hadn't been renovated.

Now every single arena in the country looks exactly the same on the inside and it's terrible. Arenas now are like where stadiums were in the 70's. No character.

Fenway. Went there when the Cards and Sox met for the first time since the 1967 World Series and was blown away. Same for MSG. Wrigley, on the other hand, is a piss trough.

The Rose Bowl also hosted Olympic soccer in ‘84

I'd have to say Wrigley.

Makes the most pop culture/movie appearances.

I agree with most on the Wrigley sentiments. I know its going through major renovations, but that place is just a dump to me. I went to a day game years ago during a bachelor party weekend and watched them play the Marlins...awful experience! Knees in my back the whole game, restrooms were ridiculous and lines at concessions were miserable. Even with the renovations, i don't know how much they can fundamentally change?
