Already passed him a while ago.

For some people, there's not a single thing he can ever do.

I would accept it if he can prove he knows how to truly read a book

Somehow win his struggle to manufacture charisma

In my opinion, two more rings, pass Kareem in points, reach 40K 10K 10K points rebs assists would be a great argument.
I think this would help for sure but I don't see a world where he is the best player on 2 more championship teams.
It's done, it's over, thankfully MJ is still the GOAT

Quit talking, because when he talks he sounds like an uneducated bitch. Oh, and stop being a cuck.

-Not be a villain so much
-play competent defense
-more titles and MVPs
TBH he's put himself in a bad spot in terms of trying to pass Jordan with epic meltdowns, choke jobs, and really just being a fake person who's very insecure. Kind of a fraud though incredibly physically gifted.

Nobody cares about these longevity records/number in the NBA at all. They have only slightly care in the NFL, but not much. MLB is really the only professional team sport that does. Part of that is tradition, but mainly, though baseball is technically a team sport, it’s clearly the most individual sport one. You’re up their hitting by yourself, pitching by yourself, running the bases by yourself, fielding by yourself, etc..In the context of the team obviously, but 1 player can affect their team’s success much less than they can in basketball or football. There have been plenty of great, great, all-time HOF players( Mike Trout, for example) in MLB that no matter how great they are in any particular season or overall career, 1 player simply can’t elevate his team to championship levels. Or even regular season success.
So nobody cares about—or is even aware off—those career counting stats. The only feather in his cap there would be the all-time scoring record. Which some would argue was aided by whatever juice/HGH/blood doping he’s done to be able to play at such a high level for so long.
So, he’d have to start with more rings After all, since there are only 5 players on the court, all going both ways, 1 player has an infinitely more effect on their team’s success than the other sports (QB could be argued, but I don’t it’s a winning one) And I don’t think just tying MJ at 6 would do it. I think he’d have to surpass him with 7. I am in he camp that 6-3 hours in the Finals is better than 6-3, because it’s better to get there and lose than not getting there at all.
But, in those losses to the Mavs and Spurs (the one with the Heat), he shriveled under the pressure in a way Jordan didn’t seem capable. There were times he was clearly too scared to shoot for long-stretches at a time that wasn’t in Jordan’s DNA. Lebron probably has the best overall game ever, but he’s not an alpha—he thinks he is (or at least lies to himself that he is), he’s a beta in an alpha’s skin. And though he’s had some great Finals performances, he’s not the “killer” MJ was. And that is a trait we want—demand—in our GOATS.
However, to answer your hypothetical and pretend it’s even the slightest bit possible, he’d have to have a late-career Barry Bonds type resurgence, become the best player in the NBA again, win another MVP or 2, and clearly be the best player on the court while winning another 3 championships. And since he’s already been taking everything Bonds did and more, I honestly don’t it’s humanly possible. And that’s Nyla figure of speech. I literally don’t think another human is capable of such feats/

Get a college degree. Who listens to a GED drop out?

I mean at this point imo he can’t
Jordan was an icon on a level that LeBron can’t reach. Lebron has also lost too much

Go back in time and don't lose as many finals as he has. Losers don't get to be #1.

No one's mind is being changed at this point. If you think MJ's the GOAT there's nothing Lebron could do that's going to change your mind.

Not be a bitch. He’s already disqualified

There isn’t a single era of professional basketball where every team in the league wouldn’t take Lebron #1 overall in a redraft featuring every player who has ever played

Which I think is really unfortunate. There is such a good debate to be had here but it'll never take place because people won't look past their biases. You can see it from this thread. Lebron could win the the next 5 rings and it wouldn't matter. I don't like LeBron personally. I cheered against him every year I can remember, even moreso after the Anthony Davis crap, but it is inconceivable to me to not respect his greatness. People bring up rings but then change it up when Bill Russell is brought up. People bring up him losing in the finals but somehow that holds more weight than the years Jordan didn't make it to the finals. I'm not sitting here saying LeBron is undoubtedly better than Jordan but to look at both of their bodies of work and think he isn't near his level or that it's impossible to pass him is weird.
