Didn't you see!? He had ONE great game against Mississippi State whose defense finished 125th out of 133 teams in total yards allowed per game

It’s a distinct possibility Arch doesn’t even declare for the draft. But even if he does, I’m not sure why so many people are just penciling Cleveland into the numbers one pick. Their team isn’t that bad outside of the qb, and the saints are fricking awful

I can’t remember a player with 2 starts under his belt getting this much praise. Ready for him to be “good” but overall be a massive disappointment

I'm in the Steve Spurrier corner. As Coach Spurrier said this year, if Arch was so good that he is the leading candidate for the Heisman this year, projected no. 1 pick, why the hell did Texas have him on the bench?

Obviously his draft position will be determined by his play on the field, but the hype is in his pedigree. When you grandfather was a good NFL QB (who was stuck playing for an awful franchise) and your uncles were both (likely) HOF QBs, you get the benefit of the doubt from NFL teams until proven otherwise.
