Say what?

Resigning Rondo and Niko would be key.
Mirotic would 100% have to be shipped as part of a sign & trade for that to have a chance.

If you tell Cleveland, I want Nola. He signs his player option and Nola trade Mirotic, Moore, etc and picks

Pels:

Rondo/Holiday/Lebron/Davis/Cousins

Man, doesn’t that sound just so terrible and awful? Two first team all defense guys. 3 guys that have been all nba, two of which are top 5 players. People can laugh all they want but that team would be outrageously good

Maybe they’d have to sign and trade Cousins, that would be fine, too.

None of this is gonna happen, but it’s not laughable to discuss it. That team would be good. Bill simmons has been saying Pels should be the option for months. Shannon sharpe has brought it up.

There are only 3 teams in the league that give Lebron a better shot than the Pels

GSW
Rox
BOS

Philly is still a couple of years away. Lebron gets to play with two all NBA defensive players and a top 5 player in the league.

There is 10-15 teams Lebron can join and they they likely become the 3rd best team. Pels are one of them.

B you know, I believe this will be a different LBJ this go round. He just logged the most physically and mentally exhausting year of his career, and for what, to get the doors blown off by GS? He is older, the window is closing, I believe he takes a serious look at the truly best place to win regardless of market

Gentry is a player’s coach LBJ could walk all over. He may relish the chance to lead guys like AD and DMC, two guys who have played on “lost” orgs. I know it’s slim but there something in me saying don’t rule it out

Breaking news there boom. That’s the kind of sorry arse shite you’ve brought to the table since I was sending you home kicking rocks after destroying you in FIFA 98.

it would be a great fit and probably the best team in the league next to the warriors. the reason he wont come to NOLA is because he doesnt want his kids in that environment. he's best friends wit chris paul and chris paul already stated the whole time he lived in new orleans he was afraid to go outside.

nah. Boogie is 99% gone. just let him go or straight up sign and trade boogie and bron if bron agrees to come here. no point trading away mirotic and moore and picks when we could accomplish the same thing getting rid of a guy who is already gone

LBJ could go to any playoff team in the West and they instantly even or almost even with GS.

I’m not saying he’s some source. But they get quite a bit of viewers. It adds to discussion and makes more people talk about the possibility

Gert you know as well as me that Pels can add Lebron and still not be as good as CC or GSW.

Why do you assume Boogie is gone? I’d say 80% chance he stays in Nola

People with sources have said the same. They just want to do a short term deal

Lol they are instantly better than CC at that point. LeBron is the only guy in the league that could that but he goes to pretty much any west playoff team and they better than CC. LBJ and AD would be a major problem for CC. You could add Durant to Pels and they are better than CC. You add LBJ and it’s not even close. Sweep or GSweep.

Not a chance. I think you underestimate CC. what were they 50-5 when healthy this year. They are right there with GSW. Right there with them. Truly an all time great kinda team. They are a team who would have challenged the all time win record with decent health. They weren’t even really healthy this year and won 65.

——

Houston handed Durant's Warriors three losses in five games before CP3's injury. Those same Warriors are 28-3 against all other playoff teams, including 8-1 vs LeBron.

Rockets are in a truly unique recruiting position: No other team is even remotely close to beating GSW.
