The NFL should put this game behind a paywall to try and grab more money

Kickoff temperature is supposed to be above 0, so it won't quite get to that point. It is going to suck though

Oh, how I wish someone would make a hollow football out of ice, and on kick off, it would shatter. And only the holder would know in advance. If only it were a game that didn't matter.

Those were the winds in the 2022 Ohio State and NW game at Evanston. CJ Stroud couldn’t pass the ball basically at all and there were dipshits on this board acting like it was a fault in his abilities.

This type of weather is legitimately the Steelers only shot at winning.

That means nothing

A repeat of the Patriots/Bills game neutralizes the Bills strengths on offense.

Coldest game I can ever remember watching was that Seahawks/Vikings playoff game after the Metrodome roof collapsed.

I believe that was about -6. The wind in KC this weekend is supposed to be brutal.

We went below zero in wind chill here in KC this morning and not supposed to get above it until Wednesday. The wind chill during game tomorrow is supposed to get down to -30. I'll be sitting at home eating gumbo and sipping bourbon while watching.

You also had the "Freezer Bowl" game in Cincinnati which had a (reported) -59 wind chill.

But the Bills biggest advantage in the game is at QB and this would negate that at least a bit

Ice Bowl between Green Bay and Dallas was -15 at kickoff with -48 windchill. It was so cold the refs could blow their whistles because they would freeze to their lips.

And no performance fabrics, clothing, or gear. Just polyester and cotton.

That game was -6 at kickoff. But it had nothing to do with the roof collapse. The roof collapse was in Dec 2010 and this game was in Jan 2016. The Vikings were playing in Minnesota's stadium after they demo'd the metrodome before the new stadium was built.

Packers/Giants NFCCG in Jan 2008 was cold as shite too. -1 at kickoff.
