We need executive action on MLB.

Somebody call the big orange guy and tell him to save the national pastime.
1. remove the DH in the NL; save our heritage
2. stop interleague play
3. get rid of the wildcard round; it's absolutely crazy for teams to play 162 games and have a division winner have to play their second place team in a 3-game series to see who moves on

I remember the days when the Republican Party wanted less federal government intervention. Wish we could go back to those days.

3. I'm OK with the wildcard round; however, a team that's 81-81 and is HOSTING is complete BS. All division winners get in, but teams are seeded 1-6 based on record. The Astros would be having to play AT CLEVELAND instead of hosting the White Sox. Trash.

Just get rid of divisions and set a minimum number of wins to make the playoffs... no way they'd do that and lose money though

You think that's crazier than the 4th ranked team getting a bye? They should go 1-6 for seeding and get rid of the Division seeding. You shouldn't get a bye if you finish 4th after 162 games playing in a weaker division.

I think if the first wild card team has a better record that the lowest division winner, they should get to choose who they play in the wild card round.

He's right about this one.
The whole point of the 162 game season is to determine who the best teams are. A team in second place is at best, second best.
Plus, The teams with byes now have to sit an awfully long time.
