And btw, Redskins is the only Native American associated name I actually thought may need to be changed.
Also happened to be one of the most popular teams on Native reservations.

Just stick with Washington Football Team. Everyone still does, and will, (internally at least) refer to them as the Redskins.

Keep it as the Washington Football Team. It has kind of grown on me and it perfectly embodies the soulless bureaucracy of Washington. Of the other names, Commanders isn’t terrible, rest are bad. Washington Korruption would be cool

Washington Pork Skins

Kinda random that the two animal names are mascots of the two state Arkansas schools.

Cleveland Indians should have used it but didn’t. Snag it.

Pigskins would be the best option besides Redskins (best option) and Washington Football Team

Hogs instead of RedHogs. At least Hogs would have a basis on the franchise's traditions.

I want to hear Buck & Aikman have to keep saying this.
Though the overall damage to the country due to such an election result might be pretty bad.

Washington Football Team is by far the best option.
Especially since 90% of America is going to keep calling them Redskins anyway

Why have a silly nickname attached. Why not just Washington or Washington United. What's Barcelona's mascot or Real Madrid? They are just Barcelona and Real Madrid and everyone knows who they are. No need for silly mascots. Be different.

The Red Tampons would suit them better than anything else.

Washington Football Team is easily the worst. This isn't soccer. We're not Europe. There is a reason why our great country declared independence from them centuries ago. Pick an actual team nickname like everyone else. All these MLS teams with FC and SC in their name with the same lame shield logo sounds and looks awful.

All naval terms for a city that.... Is not on the ocean or in a bay/harbor or even had much nautical history. Yes it's on the river, but no one associates that place with ships and naval battles, sailing, etc.
Ever heard of Battle of Chesapeake Bay?
quote:
The battle was strategically decisive,[1] in that it prevented the Royal Navy from reinforcing or evacuating the besieged forces of Lieutenant General Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia. The French were able to achieve control of the sea lanes against the British and provided the Franco-American army with siege artillery and French reinforcements. These proved decisive in the Siege of Yorktown, effectively securing independence for the Thirteen Colonies.
The Naval Academy is also right there in Annapolis.
