Deboer is obviously an amazing coach, but not much of a recruiter. Washington local talent has been getting pilfered. Bama fans would eat him alive.

i think Lanning would be a home run hire. Young and fiery and can recruit like hell and knows the south.

AFAIK Deboer has no SEC experience or any ties to the South. Lanning would make way more sense.
