i dont know if this is what they are going to be settling with but this is what they have been tweeting from the football account

looks like this is the next major facility project in CFB and it looks pretty nice

they are saying they wont increase capacity but i bet they end up doing so if they are going to build an actual structure in their south endzone

Bet they’re still the least intimidating 80,000+ seat stadium in college football. Other than the Rose Bowl

Are they trying to have the best scoreboard in CFB?

Auburn currently holds that honor.

Coolest part about this is that the coaching staff and players agreed to help construction workers during the remodel. Here's a clip from the groundbreaking ceremony today:

The renovation is expected to be primarily financed by gifts, with $30 million of a hoped-for $125 million pledged so far.

Must be nice to be able to pull that kinda money in donations. One of a handful of schools who can.

UK just did a 200 million upgrade and they seat about half as many

Texas just hired UK's T&F coach too.

Damn, TAMU joins the SEC and Texas just tries to keep up with UK.

Get rid of the awful fake turf. Put grass back in like it used to be.

The only place that feels weird with turf is ND imo

Absolutely. Notre Dame Stadium should never have trash fake turf. If several NFL teams in the north can make beautiful grass work then so should Notre Dame and Texas. Garbage fake turf fricking sucks.

Notre Dame had to go artificial because they couldn't afford a lawnmower.

why the hell would we want to?

102k is more than enough seats. If anything we need to add more suites and reduce capacity.
