Conor accomplishments are a joke. When you really look at how he made his name it was against an Aldo who let him get into his head and caught a one in a million punch. Then he beat a fluke champion in Alvarez who has been getting his arse beat by everyone including bums in One Championship. Diaz exposed him and punked him. Beat him the second time in my opinion. I'll give him credit for the Mayweather fight. That was a world class con.

He was a great fighter at 145… at 155 he has went up against two all time greats in Khabib and poirier.

Say what you want about Alvarez post ufc but after he lost to Conor he beat gaethje. His other two fights were against poirier with an illegal knee and the Dustin busted him up but he lasted longer than Conor in both matches.

Watched that fight again recently and I don’t see how any sane person thinks Diaz won that fight. Props for surviving the 1st round and almost finishing Conor, but Conor definitely won 3-2. That’s easily the most heart he’s ever showed in a fight.

Just watched Dustins PC. His reaction when they referred to his wife as “thug wife” was priceless

Anderson Silva's leg break was the same thing as the Leprechaun's. He came back but was never close to the same

Spider was also like 38 when he broke his leg and was busted for PEDs. The leg break was not good, obviously, but I think age and USADA had much more to do with his late decline than the injury.

Ok then how did he break his tibia?

Conor’s coach was on a YouTube interview a few hours ago. Conor attempted a front leg kick to the body that Dustin checked with his right elbow. He said that caused the fracture.

They showed a slo-mo clip.

yeah that one makes much more sense than the check earlier in the round. because he followed that up with several hard kicks after. You'd figured one of those would have broken it.

But the break happening immediately after that elbow as he steps on it, makes more sense.

In his defense, Conor was cussing at him from his backside at the time. The a-hole eating, while funny, was uncalled for

What would you say if conner was sitting on the mat telling you its not over and you and your wife are going to die, you are going to get it in your sleep etc like conner was?

Look on the PPV the guys curse, nothing really wrong with anything DP said, but saying you are going to kill someone in their sleep, murder their whole family, insulting his wife talkin about DMs when that was about the charity etc.

Im not som huge mma fan but CM is a huge POS human and anyone talking shite to him is free game in my book.

its so funny the CM fans are upset saying talking shite while someone is injured is over the line, but saying you are going to kill someones family in their sleep is ok, calling someones dada coward is ok, calling someone a terrorist is ok, assualting and trying to injury, with metal chairs, a whole bus full of MMA fighters are all ok....but how dare someone insult him while he is on the ground.

frick conner.

So was it ever determined if DP checked one of CMs kicks to cause the break, like he claimed in post fight interview?

When they stand up from the ground Connor throws a front kick and Dustin blocks it with his elbow. Looks like that cracked it and when Connor stepped back and turned it broke through

What is the UFC going to do with O'Malley? The UFC cant keep feeding him bums forever. Dana says the kid is the real deal publicly and I get he's a big draw but they're going to have to find out sooner or later if he's just a fun fighter or a legitimate top of the card fighter/contender.

Well, they gave him a top 15 a couple of fights ago and that didn't work out.

But yeah his next has to be top 15.

He need to drink some milk. Those Irish ankles don’t hold up in the octagon.

His fighting style seems like a perfect recipe for injury. Being so skinny and using those awkward angles gives me anxiety watching him.
But the kid is fun to watch and is an entertainer. I like that he was so respectful of that guy who was thrown in to fight him.
I don’t think O’Malley will ever be a serious title contender unless he gets stronger on that slight frame. But I like the kid and hope he proves me wrong.
