I always thought wrestling dictates the direction MMA fights go, but now thats thrown out the window for this mythical "kiss of death" left hand? Connor is super legit but lets not act like Khabib is an easy fight. If/when Khabib gets him to the ground its going to get ugly real fast
He has ko or tko everyone he has fought in the UFC except Holloway or Diaz. Out of those two, only Diaz has lost via tko or ko and it was to a headkick.
He made Eddie Alvarez, one of the toughest dudes to ever fight, look like a bum. Poirier, another guy that is one of the best. Chad Mendes... Yeah I don't get your argument.

No malice, I was just saying Conor can bang but i think his power is hyped a bit. Outside of Aldo he hasnt blanked anyone with one punch. Conor has made everyone oitside of Diaz, Duffy, Max, and that other guy that beat him look amateurish but Khabib has ragdolled punchers, wrestlers, bjj guys, whereas Conor has had touble on the ground.

It's an intriguing fight for sure.
I think Khabib takes it because he is a fricking mauler on the ground and Conor has shown lackluster cardio. But you can never count someone out with Conor's power and striking.

Rewatch that Mendes fight, if he lets khabib climb on top of him that easy, it’s gonna be a super rough night for him. Conor was in deep shite with Mendes several times on the ground, khabib is much bigger. I agree he could catch him, after the AI fight, however, I’m expecting a much smarter khabib. You can learn to protect yourself better pretty quickly, you can’t become a world class grappler over night.

Ring rust is a real thing. It’s been a long time since Conor was in the octagon. He’s going to get worked. Khabib will win via 2nd round stoppage (TKO).
