that was my first sentiment but as we got closer to fight time, I changed my mind. I think he'll be ready

I like Connor in this one. Khabib’s striking is suspect. Because they start standing Connor already has the advantage.

That’s kind of like saying “The Jets have the advantage against the patriots because they get the ball first”.

A fight I would love to see is Gray Maynard in his prime against Khabib

Gray Maynard is one of my favorite fighters ever. But Khabib would put an arse whipping on him.

Khabib's striking might be suspect but Conor's ground game is non-existent. Conor can can win by standing up and hoping to land a knockout while Khabib can win by submission, ground and pound or simply letting the fight go the distance. I would think if it's left to the judges that Conor will have spent a lot of his time getting taken down and being completely outmatched on the ground.

“I own Rio de Janeiro, so for him to say he is the King and I am the joker, if this was a different time I would invade his favela on horseback and kill anyone that was not fit to work, but we are in a new time so I’ll whoop his arse.”

I am going to go. I saw him when he fought Aldo in Vegas. And I saw him when he thought Álvarez in New York City. Both environments were pretty crazy. It should be a fun one to watch.
