Even if you have that attitude there's no good reason the starter should still be in the game to throw 13 TDs.

Yeah, no reason to run it up like that.

this is the right way to look at it in college and the pros. no reason for a HS team to run it up like this

At the very least the score was 78-0 after his 13th touchdown. How is that even fun for him?

We're looking at a high school football team full of cruel sadists of some sort.

If people have such a problem with their little babies getting beat too bad then perhaps they shouldn’t be playing football in the first place.

So high schools should disband football programs if they aren’t very good? Because playing high school sports is only about being good and winning.

Congratulations to Inglewood Head Football Coach, Mil’Von James, on being name the Chargers Don Shula HS Coach of the Year! He is headed to the #ProBowl!

Chargers named him their Coach of the Year 2 years ago. Inglewood...Inglewood always up to no good.

It is one thing to have the "stop it if you don't like it" mentality, but why is the same QB in the game in such a blowout?

They couldn't get their backups work? They don't have another QB?

When my son played 5th and 6th grade football we were playing a team that was much better than ours. They were beating us pretty good, like by 3 touchdowns. With a minute to go in the game, they ran a fricking hook and lateral and scored a touchdown. I’ve never seen parents so close to fighting after a game.

The bad part was my neighbor was the opposing teams coach and his son scored the TD. I don’t think I ever said 3 words to him again and have since moved.

Would have been interesting to see the qb take a hit to the knee as he released his 13th TD pass.

The team was going for 2 up 80-0, and the coach refused to allow a running clock

He is a true piece of shite

"Morningside first-year coach Brian Collins was clearly not pleased with any of it. He told Los Angeles Times writer Eric Sondheimer attempts to go to a running clock early in the second quarter were unsuccessful. "The refs asked them to run the clock and they refused," Collins said."

Not a good look.

We can all agree that we hope the coach gets hit by a bus today.

Putting up 100 is cool, it doesn’t happen often… in the old days, they didn’t have any issue with these type of scores

Leaving in starters, especially the QB, is way over the top. Granted there may be a back story here but at face value it was a total Dick move.

So I just saw the refs requested a running clock and Inglewood scoring board people refused to do so

quote:

“The refs asked them to run the clock and they refused,” Collins said. Inglewood head coach Mil’Von James is in his third season. He was head coach at Hawkins in the City Section until being fired following the 2016 season when his team had to forfeit every victory for using ineligible players and the program was placed on two years’ probation for rules violations. He has seven players on this year’s team committed to major universities. All are transfer students.
