You act like they can control every aspect of their schedule. Georgia Tech didn't reschedule them. Power teams will avoid "upset" games.
Schedules are made years in advance...its a gamble whether that team will be a power when you face them.
These teams deserve a shot but ESPN and the P5 conferences have stacked the deck in every way possible to make it impossible for a mid-major to win a title no matter how good they are.
By this logic Butler should have never been in the Final Four because they didn't play in a power 5 conference. Thankfully every other sports gives every school a shot at winning a title.

Seriously, are we really using a meaningless exhibition game that Auburn was clearly disappointed to be in as any sort of indication that UCF is the best in the country?

Also, I happened to have watch UCF during the year. They are good, very good, with legit NFL talent on both sides of the ball. People simply tried to dismiss them as a lowly untalented mid-major. That isnt the case with this actual team

Whatever you say. Their schedule is what it is, and they simply aren't going to be considered as the best.

Sure. Dropping form playoff team to meaningless exhibition surely had no effects on the players.
