Quickest way to agitate police officers is to ignore their commands, hide behind tinted windows (further making them uneasy) and speed threw a coned off area.
This is all self-nflicted drama stemming from entitlement and you can't tell me what to do.
White, black....contempt of cop will get everyone arrested. See Scottie Scheffler.
Traffic stops aren't complicated if you behave rationally and be on your way. Act like a child, you'll be treated like a child.

I think in the state of Florida rolling window down is a legal order citizens have to abide by, but in Louisiana you can keep them rolled up.
But yea, getting that confirmation is what is needed. Some posters are stating like it's fact, and they may ultimately be correct, but they more so lucked into it because they just assumed Tyreek HAD to roll the window all the way down because anyone anywhere has to do that if the cop asks, and I'm pretty sure that is not correct.
But like you said, it may be the case in Florida, maybe...but not necessarily everywhere.

This situation should look bad on the Dolphins organization. First was the officer aggressive, yes. However, Hill was not exactly being compliant. Rolling his window up, dismissive, telling the cop to just write a ticket (how to do his job).
Then you have the Dolphins organization blaming the cops. Making the cops the bad guys. Saying publicly, “what would have happened if it was not Hill.” Just complete entitlement. I know if I walked up on a situation claiming that was my friend, they would be arresting me. Hill wasn’t even arrested. He was detained cause he acted like a complete arse in the car. I never once heard you are under arrest. It’s simple the cops pull you over, cooperate and it will give you the best chance of being on your way. Also don’t drive recklessly which that is also being ignored.

What’s your opinion of that part?
I didn’t make it that far. The first 45 seconds or so is all I need to see what hill was doing and how he’s acting.
Sorry. Play stupid games….

It is the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 2024 and we have a 16 page thread dissecting a traffic violation stop on a sports message board.

Because he did roll it down, enough to allow communication...which again, I THINK is all that he needs to do, but would love for someone who knows more than all of us guessing to clarify.

Like I said, the windows aren’t that tinted
Also, when the officer is actively knocking for him to keep the window down, Tyreek is stretching and putting his seat belt on. Then lowers the window a good bit.
He’s cooperating enough for me to say this is at least 95% the officer’s fault.
So Hill puts down the window like he’s asked and the cop says, “all the way or I’m getting you out nvm frick you get out now.”
That’s ridiculous. He has to do a better job there. Hill isn’t really doing much wrong here.
Then they drag him out while Hill continues to follow directions by immediately getting out in a calm fashion.

Some of the comments are ridiculous.
He was going 60 in a 25 mile zone right past cops trying to keep the road safe. Thats idiotic.
Then the cops approach the car, the windows are tinted black and he refuses to roll them down?
He is lucky they did not approach the car with guns loaded, its fricking Miami not Mayberry.
Then he makes the cop knock on his window and then complains he is knocking on his window too hard.
And what is this shat "he is going to a game" he looks like a gangbanger I have no idea what he looks like and I sure as hell could not see behind blackened windows.
He deserved far worse and he even knows it, thats why he was quiet til this all came out.
And the racist tones are disgusting, he treated the cops like shat and they are hispanic, is that no longer a race??????
The cops should file a hate crime lawsuit against him.

What exactly did Hill “do here”?
He learned that 3 Hispanics aren’t afraid to slap the cuffs on a non-compliant a-hole.

I can tell you what he didn't do, and that is comply with the police. Not one person who has come out for Hill will talk about how he escalated the situation. They also won't say Hill should have complied with the officers and likely none of this would have happened.
it's almost like they have an agenda. can't imagine what that can be. I do love how they are continuing the "whoa is the black person" routine when the officers involved also click the minority box as well. Guess there are different levels of minorities.
Whether you think the cop overreacted or not, they did what they would do to any non compliant citizen.

Some in here have said that he should have complied.
But they always fall back on, “but he didn’t deserve that!!”

I mean I've gotten a ticket for it, and it's generally accepted in court.

It isn’t even a speeding ticket so I’m not sure why everyone is all up in arms about the visual estimation part.

That's the problem right there. Ordinary folks dont want to see the police being so beligerent. Its not about Tyreek Hill. Its about the a-hole with a badge who thinks its ok to treat people that way.
Scottie Scheffler got treated the same exact way.

Tyreek was merely detained then let go with only a traffic ticket
Scottie had an actual true reason to complain. He was arrested and charged with a fricking felony

Exactly!
Comply, any problems call your lawyer after the game. Easy Peasy
