does anyone know if he ever started breathing again?
Posted on 9/8/12 at 1:32 pm to Lester Earl
They revived him on the field.
He wasn't moving when being carted off.

My sister is a trauma surgeon at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. If that's where they took him - He's in good hands.

He's at St Johns. Stable condition, whatever that means.

St. John's is a good one, too. Level 4 trauma center IIRC.
Glad he seems to be out of the woods.
ETA:
It's a Level 2 but tops in the area. Sorry 'bout that.
St Francis is a Level 3 and knew St John's was either one up or one down.
Either way - He's in good hands (as previously stated).

Let's take a minute to thank the real heroes here, the EMT Basic and Paramedic who revived him on the field

I'm feeling heart stricken for Devon. I sorta know Devon. I had Biochem with him last semester. Bright guy, pre-med students. Nice cat, we'd chat it up in class all the time.
Crazy how he collided with Julius Warmsley. 2 of the nicest guy on the team. I went to elementary and middle school with Alex as well. Great guy too

It's crazy how it all unfolds man

I hope this kid is OK, but if his heart and breathing did stop, it's not a good sign. Stable doesn't mean much as far as paralysis is concerned.
Tough to watch.

One of the hardest workers on that team. Former Walkon that earned a scholarship to. Damn I hope he makes it out but it doesn't sound good
