Wow, dude just chilled. Kruijswijk just sat as well. Also, if Movistar would have rode that sensibly all tour, Valverde or Landa could have won the whole thing.

What a dud of a finish. I really the shortened stage would lead to a balls out attack by several guys. Instead....nothing.

Though several finishes bode well for the excitement of future tours.

Yeah, it sucked. But in the end these guys just didn't have anything left.
Pinot would have made it interesting for sure.

What a joke of a frickin team. How many guys did they have in the final selection of stage 20? They chased each other all Tour. Instead of racing for a singular goal, they raced as a bunch of individuals.

Oh, but they won the team GC race.

That speed by Ewen was incredible. Stunningly fast snap up to speed. I’m always impressed by the ability of true sprinters to get up to speed in just a few pedal revolutions.

Been fun fellas
Will prob start these for the other Grand Tour races as well if no one else does.
That was a fast 3 weeks and I’m already having Tour withdrawal. bullshite aside about Stage 19 and 20 this was a pretty damn entertaining TDF.
Hopefully it brings new interest into the sport with the greatest athletes in the world.
Next year we get the TDF followed by Tokyo 2020

I saw a twitter post from the TDF account that he went from 35 to almost 41 mph in the last few meters.

Froome, Thomas, Bernal.

Once one of those is in yellow, it's lights out.

Probably going to go buy my first bike within the next few weeks. This Tour/thread has definitely contributed to that

Glad we all had a small part of generating interest into this beautiful sport. More people on bikes the better

I like Bernal, just wish he didn't ride for Ineos. I'm not sure how they are going to keep a team with those 3 together. Froome wont have any interest in doing this co-captain crap with Bernal.

Thomas is signed through 2021,bernal through 2023 and Froome's ends at the end of 2020 I believe.

They just signed Carapaz too.

The only team that will be able to challenge them at all in any race is Jumbo with Doumilon, Roglic, and Kruijswik

Even if he was younger they are in France if you can crawl you can drink. You can probably buy wine in kid-sized juice boxes.

Very frustrating how nbc switches coverage between nbcsn and nbc.
