Yeah, but that's not how it works. The Cavs don't have much leverage now that the world knows they have very much disgruntled player who doesn't want to be in Cleveland. That drops his value a ton.

I'd have to agree. But Houston never really have the enough assets to get that done. They'd need to have a third team involved

It was an uphill battle for Houston that Ryno deal really came back to bite them in the arse. A trade with Cleveland has much less roadblocks for the Knicks.
