People seem to love to forget there was a few year stint when Tom Brady looked like he was downtrending. Then they reloaded the team and won the 28-3 ring.

I'd hate to see what you think of all the times Andy Reid's offenses were held in check in the SB.
It's extremely hard to separate Bill and Brady. Bill is probably still the greatest defensive mind that ever coached, and was an elite GM for over a decade. He also, for whatever reason, has/had the ability to get players motivated and put in their absolute best position to make plays. It was rare to see the Patriots in worse shape than their opponents. He also was able to keep elite coaching talent happy (Scar and Ernie Adams) and continually revamp the team through two decades of a system designed to not allow dynasties. Bill challenged Brady in ways that other coaches probably wouldn't have.
That being said, Brady covered Bills shoddy GMing in his last 5 years there, and Brady also allowed Bill to focus on the defense and plug/play good not elite offensive talent, yet get elite results on the offensive side of the ball.

Early Brady does not win Super Bowls without Belichick.
Late Belichick does not win Super Bowls without Brady.

So...they complemented each other? What a shocker.

Guess that’s all Tom too?

You actually just made the argument against Brady. 505 yards and he lost because his defense didn’t carry him. Any idiot that calls Brady the goat after he got thoroughly outplayed by Eli Manning TWICE and put up only 14 points in that first SB shouldn’t talk football anymore.
I’m confused. You do realize Tom Brady didn’t play defense, right? Just to explain: football is what is called a “team game.” Tom put up 505 yards, three TDs and zero picks. They ran for over five yards per carry and had over 600 yards of total offense. Defense couldn’t carry him? Maybe you shouldn’t talk football, anymore. It’s a team game. He didn’t play defense. Bill and the defense couldn’t stop Nick Foles.
Also, he didn’t lose to Eli Manning. He lost to the elite Giants defenses led by Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck, etc. Once again, I don’t think Eli Manning played defense.

Tom Brady didn't play nor coach defense.

Rams shouldn’t have been in that game. Better watch out with that one. You’ll anger some of the people around here. (Not me. I don’t really care.)

Hoodie has a horrible record without Brady.

He does not have Brady as QB at UNC. He will have a losing record there, too.

In the 6 Super Bowl wins together, only once did the Patriots have a scoring offense ranked higher than their scoring defense….

so after 1 game BB is a shite coach?
Not just that but apparently he’s the exact same coach at 72 as he was at 47, as if he and the game don’t change.
BB doesn’t have 6 rings without Brady, but Brady does not win 6 just anywhere either.

I think some people would say it might have helped that the coach named Bill Belichick had a GM who, coincidentally, had the same exact name as him and they were able to prioritize defensive free agent signings for twenty consecutive seasons. 19, if you subtract the one season they signed an aging but awesome Randy Moss.

But a few years later it’s Brady that puts up only 13 points vs the Rams while the defense held an elite offense to 3 points
Also in both the losses to the Giants, Brady led to his offense to 14 and 17 points respectively while the defense was above average at least
Some of the early SBs were also great performances by the defense
In other words it’s a team sport. Obviously Brady deserves tons of credit for it and it’s fitting to call him the GOAT but acting like BB’s defenses didn’t play a huge part is also wrong

Bill is a football genius. You are a retard.
Bill is retired, like coach o, cashing checks and chasing tail.
Who can blame him.

I would say the fact that every part of his career without Brady being below .500 makes him an average HC who got a Generational leader at QB and rode him to greatness.
go look at Bill's first Super Bowl run and tell me that was Brady that carried them.
last 5 regular season games
Brady 61% Completion. averaged less than 200 yards passing per game. 2 TD and 5 Int. 72.6 passer rating
