Idk, the Red Sox selling Babe Ruth was pretty terrible.

They were gonna lose him anyway to free agency probably. I watched an informative talk on the business side and how it was heading that way

In the end, he just wasn't well rounded on the team side , especially defense.

No doubt he can score

This is up there with Babe Ruth being traded to the Yankees, or Gretzky being traded to the Kings from the Oilers.

There’s financial gain for the Mavs ownership behind closed doors.

The new ownership bought the Mavs for one reason: to have a presence in Texas in order to bribe politicians into legalizing casino gambling in the state.

The only thing we're wondering around here is will Kyrie be traded next? Will he go back to his pre-Dallas ways and start acting bad to force the issue? He isn't getting any younger and probably wants another ring.

The Deashaun Watson trade didn’t last too long as the worst trade in sports history, but maybe it can still be the worst contract in sports history

It wasn’t AT THE TIME. But ended up being the worst.

This isn't even close to the worst trade in sports history.. Not close at all in my opinion. The Dallas Cowboys traded Hershel Walker to Minnesota

Walker needs a Statue outside of Jerrah World as the man who built a Dynasty .

But.....

quote:

In 1989, Walker was a solid player coming off a good season in 1987 and a great season in 1988. Doncic is a top-three or top-five player in the world and is coming off five consecutive first-team All-NBA selections and the NBA’s scoring title in 2024.

In Walker’s three seasons in Dallas, the Cowboys never made the playoffs and never had a winning season. Dallas went 3-13 in Walker’s last full campaign there. With Doncic leading the way, the Mavericks made the playoffs in four of the past five years, reached the conference finals in two of the last three years and are coming off an NBA Finals appearance eight months ago.

So.....

Ok

Why not shop him to more teams?

I guarantee they could have gotten more

Most Career PPG average in the Playoffs in NBA history....

1. Michael Jordan - 33 points
2. Luka - 31
3. AI - 30
4. .Kevin Durant - 29
5. Jerry West - 29

I mean the NBA today isn't the Bad Boys Pistons.

For Mavericks brass to say, defense wins Championships and we need a better defender....what League are they watching?
