Oregon is the only dominant team and even then who knows how next week plays out with the rematch.

This just proves that they expanded the playoff field too big. There’d have been no controversy about 9-3 Bama deserving to get in over teams that went 11-1 with a field of 5 conference champs and 3 at large (Texas, Notre Dame, Penn State)

There was always a team a step way below the rest in the 4 team playoff. A 4 team playoff wasn’t even needed.

Not sure why they thought it needed to be 12 teams. Now we have 9 teams below the top teams.

This is what made CFB awesome this year. There are a bunch of guys and a couple of women at work that never talked sports for as long as I have known them but this year they can't get enough college ball. None of them went to big football schools so no natural top team to pull for so the even given Saturday nature of this year has excited them.

yep. If you go back 25 seasons, how many of those would you say there were 3 obvious teams that were equally worthy of playing for a NC? Maybe 2 seasons?

The expanding playoffs isn't about finding out who the best team is, much less the 12 best teams. It's about finding out how much more money a bunch of greedy people can squeeze out if this product.

If you don’t like it then don’t watch. It’s that simple.

Yep, this is pretty much how I feel also, no great teams but maybe a handful of decent ones. Still my favorite sport even though they are trying their best to mess it up.

There’s a good chance Oregon loses to OSU.

The selection committee setup first round games at big payday venues. They ranked smu, boise, and ariz st so they wouldnt host first round games at shitty venues. Money grab pretty simple.

Because the playoff committee is made up of a bunch of B10 homers who were salty the SEC is better top to bottom.

Money talks and bullshite walks.

I think Bill knows something and is going to exploit that at NC. He built the patriots dynasty by developing players.

Everyone is in NCAA D1 (that can afford it) is buying rosters now.

Tennessee is losing to Ohio State even worse than Indiana did. I think Bama/ole miss/SCAR would have all been beaten by 4 scores as well.

They were required to put the Top 4 Conference Champs at 1-4.
