The rose bowl sucks

There’s geese crap everywhere on the way to the venue

The Wi-Fi is horrible (especially where the digital ticket entrance area is located)

And the stadium itself resembles a large high school stadium somewhere in the south or Texas. Very little character or imagination.

The long hall ways from the seating area to the concession area is dumb af.

Good riddance to that dump of a game and bowl

They should tear down the stadium and build a country club there instead.

Ucla can build a stadium for 15k-20k who actually attend their boring pointless games

Derp. It would be so much better if it were a glass wall stadium with a retractable roof named after a prominent multinational corporation!

In fact, college football may have to soon resort to something like this to keep top players from opting out midway through the season when their team is eliminated from playoff contention.

Maybe the corporate scabs funding all this should pay the players to appear in these games along with paying the conferences and schools.

You mean make it convenient for teams and fans from both coasts? The only people who like traveling to California are the homeless. New Orleans or Dallas make more sense.

Big Ten teams bring 30-40k fans to the Rose Bowl every year. It’s not that inconvenient.

I have to assume the number is larger, for sure. Been to three out of the four Wisconsin Rose Bowls since 2010 and I'd venture the Badgers have been closer to 50K each time.

Considering that all modern venues only accept digital tickets, that is a smh indeed

For a place as allegedly technologically advanced and sophisticated as California, the poor wifi at its “crown jewel” venue is a joke and abomination.

Good riddance to that dump

It would be

It lacks the vibe of places like Tiger Stadium, the Horseshoe, and other top tier stadiums that get loud and raucous

Those types of stadiums are way better than the corporate nfl type stadiums.

But the rose bowl has the worst of both worlds: no character and no amenities

It sucks

They should tear it down and move the game to Inglewood where the rams and chargers play

The Rose Bowl is a national historic landmark. You probably go to badass colonial revival and mission revival historic homes and complain about the lack of recessed lighting.

It's weird that people hate the best bowl game so much. No setting like it in sports.

No one hates it, it’s inferior and they’re tired of hearing about it

The reason we had a couple of shared national championships is because of the rose bowl. Instead of finding out who the better team is, we get to argue about. Thanks rose bowl.

Bingo. The Rose Bowl was oft the c@ckblock of an undisputed natty champ, that the AP and Leftist voters like Ray Ratto,etc..got to leave America frustrated.

Rose Bowl to true Natty..was the Bama-Tenn/Ga-Aub to SEC rotating schedules..aka an self-absorbed F You to the fans under the guise of "tradition"..

The weather was nice but getting from to Pasadena and back was a fricking nightmare, you’re also herded in and out of the place like it’s Guantanamo Bay

Yes it is going away.

All of these memorable traditions still exist solely because the people who lived during their peaks are still alive.

They are all dead or dying.

Millennial generations and younger couldn’t give two farts for the “tradition” of college football.

We don’t really give two farts about the “college” in college football… in this world of online education and student loans

They took the amateurism, now they've taken the pageantry.

Pageantry? I know a few announcers would say that every year to promote bowl games, but I have never heard any college football fan ever say they loved the pageantry.
