I missed most of DJ's round today, how the Frick did he only make one birdie on the easiest scoring day in British Open history? 355 yard par 4's with no wind and dry ground. You've got to be kidding me.

I didn't think he putted bad. Only had one three putt, and he had great distance control on it. He just burned a bunch of edges. His wedge was pathetic

Putting wasn't disastrous or anything but he had multiple putts around 12-15 feet and wasn't ever really close. Guys were knocking down those putts all day and he couldn't roll anything in.

Yeah but his wedge game was bad enough that it put him in bad putting situations.... If the weather is as good tomorrow his could make a huge jump and put some pressures on the leaders... Louie takes it imo.............

Yeh I'm not saying he putted good, just not bad. His wedges were legit bad. I thought Spieth putted bad in round 2

Fowler doesn't handle the bad weather as well as the others. I'd take Spieth and Johnson.

LOL, what? Fowler plays pretty damn good in that weather. Has been in the hunt for The Open in the past and won last week with similar weather 90 miles away.

Spieth wins... And if all the other golfers know what's good for them, they'll "let him win" the PGA...

Didn't this happen back in the day? Also, I know pros never beat a course record held by the club pro - bad ju ju

Gotta like where Spieth is at right now. I think he crushes everyone tomorrow and wins it. That guy loves pressure and plays better when it's on.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered already... but when is the last time someone has won the first three majors?

Jones or did Jack ever do it?

Nice story, but this a major and Spieth is after a grand slam. Spieth all the way. I think he runs away tomorrow.

Ben Hogan won the first three then the boat took too long to get back to the states and he was forced to miss the PGA

Correct, this is no attempt at a "Jordan Slam".

Jordan is going for THE Grand Slam.

Bobby Jones won the 2 opens and 2 amateurs in each country in the same year. The 4 biggest tournaments of his playing days. That is the only "true slam" completed in golf.
