It's awesome to finally have two legit superstars in golf. Mcilroy and Spieth are both young and should have some great showdowns. I'm curious who'll end up with the better career.

He adapted to the course the more he has played it.

I'm not arguing about a week off. I'm just saying that linx golf and St. Andrews are unique for American players. He should have gotten over there early to learn the course.

Rinaldi is the biggest douche ESPN has ever put on the air.
Berman is a close second.

He'll play the John Deere next year too, as defending champion.

None of his issues come from course knowledge. They all came from execution.
Lots of players don't make early trips to the British open. Lots of players didn't make early trips to Chambers Bay. Olberholser is attempting to critique someone playing golf in a way that he has never played himself

Joe Torre sucked as a player. Phil Jackson was a below average NBA player. Nick Saban is a midget who couldn't start on the football team at Kent State. Do their opinions on their sport mean anything?
Team sports vs individual

Links, and he finished one shot off the lead. I think he's fine.

But he won't be a Grand Slam winner.
