That's his job. Sure would be a small list of analyst if we only allowed those who have won both the Masters and the US Open in the same year to comment on Speith.

He didn't lose his shot at the grand slam because he played the John Deere. He was on the course on Monday and got 3 full days of practice. Not to mention he had the help of multiple caddies with experience at St. Andrews.

They don't have to be multiple major winners, but someone who could contend in a few and keep their card more than 6 years might have better insight

He shot 67 on Thursday for Christ sake. He didnt need anymore familiarity
