The MLB season is going to disintegrate

Mark these words. It won't take long but this season is gonna fall apart due to the ridiculous notion that asymptomatic players need to be tested daily and quarantine. Plus you have the phantom (spikes) as we enter the home stretch of election season that will close down some markets.

I'm afraid that you are correct.
Unless they end up going the NBA route and playing all games in an isolated area. Maybe Phoeniz and Florida won't be hot spots in a month or so.

On the topic at hand, I think it will get very interesting if some very big names choose not to participate. It could precipitate others to decide to skip the season.
Joe Ross and Mike Leake don't really move the needle. Although, I would have expected Leake to play so he can steal that $15M for pitching as poorly as he did last year.
