The Lakers disaster is LeBron's fault

- LeBron James ego turned off Paul George from wanting to play in Los Angeles
- LeBron James was the one who didn't play any defense throughout the year and blamed it on his teammates
- LeBron James' high school pal was the one who foolishly tried to force NOLA into trading AD, blowing this thing wide open and ruining team chemistry
- LeBron James was the one who passive aggressively demanded that Luke Walton be fired and his old unqualified pal Ty Lue be given the job.
- LeBron James was the one who didn't play any defense throughout the year and blamed it on his teammates

That’s taking a short term view of it.
LeBron has fricked up in LA but it mainly exposed the deep dysfunction at all layers of the Laker organization.
The team chemistry issues are on him.
The utter dysfunction in the front office? That’s on Jeannie Buss and her hires. And that has a much bigger effect on bringing in FAs and keeping players on the court than LeBron being an a-hole.

It had an unintended positive effect here.
It shone a light on just how arse backward the Laker franchise is. Which hopefully shames them into fixing things
Then again, this is a franchise effectively being run by Linda Rambis, so they may be completely and utterly fricked regardless.

The Lakers have been a disaster since Kobe tore his achilles and Jerry Buss died all of which happened long before LeBron arrived in LA.
