Was watching a game the other day and was stunned to find out that Salvador Perez is only 33 years old.

I'm shocked to hear that as well.

Eh, they’ve played the White Sox five times and an Astros team with a decimated rotation. And they’ve lost the other three series they’ve played this year. If there’s any team whose fast start is not likely to last, it’s the Royals.

Not disputing that. But last year's team would've been curbstomped by this year's Astros and White Sox.

I'd say its more likely to hold than the pirates. Do i think it'll hold? probably not. Best case this is probably a .500 team. Its good to see a trend in the right direction though.

90 wins and AL Central Champs.

If their starting rotation holds up, they'll be lifting the 2024 World Series trophy.

I eagerly await your tears and down-votes.

Clever reverse psychology.

They spent in Free Agency and have a solid core of young players. They will fight for a wild card this season

12-7 thru 19 games and the 4th best record in the A.L.

2nd place and only 1/2 game out.

They could probably use another bat at the trade deadline, but they’re fun to watch with Witt and Salvy playing really well. They’ve got the pitching depth to stick

Considering last year's team went 5-1 vs Astros, I don't think you are correct.

To put in perspective, last year they it took them until May 10 to win 12 games.

The Royals had a winning record over the White Sox last year, and this year might be the worst Sox team I've ever seen.

They actually invested in the offseason for once and made some great trades / acquisitions which has benefited the pitching staff
