I think common sense seems to be lacking from you. The answer is simple: for whatever reason, A&M played down (waaaaay down) to Arkansas whenever they met. Probably because the Aggies felt sorry for the miserable little Hogs and wanted them to feel like they had a chance at beating a B-tier team.
Creighton’s Greg McDermott Retiring

He went 365-188 in his 16 years at Creighton, minus any wins he gets at the Crown tournament in April, and is the Bluejays’ all-time winningest coach. Creighton had 14 twenty-plus win seasons and ten March Madness births with him in charge, and Creighton made it past the first round in the last five tournaments they participated in (they didn’t make it to March Madness this year). I believe they were the only school to do that.
Creighton has spent 121 weeks in the AP Top 25 and have 17 Top-Ten victories. Three Bluejays were first-round NBA draft picks and three more were second-round picks.
It really, really sucks that we finished below .500 in his last season, but hopefully, he can go out with a Crown win.
