On a freaking UNDEFEATED TEAM to keep them out of playing for a Championship is absolutely absurd. What’s the fricking point of PLAYING GAMES if we are applying criteria like that?

What’s the cutoff too. Injured left tackle? Top WR?

It’s a ridiculous notion that FSU will be kept out because they played tonight with a 3rd string QB.

I get we like talking points and there’s a lot of Bama fans here, but if FSU wins they should be in.

I get it. But you are watching a football team that isn't the same team it was all year. They have barely over a hundred yards of offense over a Louisville team with 2 losses

Yeah. I've thought about it and ultimately undefeated is undefeated. Quit overthinking this shite.

Life isn’t fair

It sucks that Travis got injured

It’s a criteria so that we end up with the best 4 teams and not give another team a bye week

Any other questions?

Let’s negate 13 wins that a staff of about 100 people including coaches and players contributed to because a QB is hurt.

If the entire starting offense died in a plane crash would you still put them in if undefeated?

How do you know their defense can’t hold a playoff team to mm not scoring much?

Yep. I guess the NFL shouldn't have let the 2017 Eagles in the playoffs because Carson Wentz got hurt at the end of the year.

Also of note, this isn’t the WB that will be playing for fsu in the playoffs anyway

Also, should the committee leave Washington out if he gets in a car accident tonight?

They’ll have the backup ready and a month to prep with an elite defense. Who’s to say that combo isn’t one of the four best teams in the county? It cannot be subjective winning has to matter

Are they one of the best 4 teams in the country today?

Because FSU looks like and is a completely different team without Travis. This is exactly why the committee was implemented - if Florida State played Alabama tomorrow, who would be favored? Who would win?

Washington were 10 point dogs and everyone in the world assumed Oregon would roll

Guess what happened when they played the game
