The melt on here from LSU fans if Bama gets in will be amazing.

I've seen a number of them lobbying for Bama.

The defense just stepped up again on a drive that started at the 10 yard line. I mean defense is playing their asses off to win this game.

The stronger argument is that FSU is undefeated and has therefore earned their way in, even if they aren't very good without their QB.

They'll get worked by Michigan but that's how it worked out this season.

The idea that we should just ignore what we're seeing right now is stupid. Telling people that FSU has earned their spot and that people should close their eyes really tight and pretend nothing happened is a bad argument.

Problem is committee put themself in a corner. They told everybody that that they’d pick the 4 best teams. I’d be surprised if they actually do that year. They haven’t had to face public scrutiny yet. This year they will. No matter what happens

The idea you think this will be the same FSU team a month from now is equally stupid. They’ll get Rodemaker back with a month of prep for their opponent. Who the frick knows what that’ll look like paired with their elite defense. Honestly it would probably compete with Michigan and their shite offense

It’s poetic that chaos hits the last year of the 4 teams

What’s the fricking point of PLAYING GAMES if we are applying criteria like that?

Nah. That was never part of the discussion and wouldn’t have been.

Bama barely survived a shitty Auburn team but then beat Georgia the next week

Disagree 100%
This FSU team will lose by 3TD’s against any of those other top 5 teams

All teams can say the same thing. Every team can improve over the next month. That's not something that should be considered. Imagine if the committee made that argument for Alabama. "Nick Saban teams always improve with a month off" Everyone would rightfully go crazy. Assuming teams will improve isn't and shouldn't be part of the criteria.

Many of the teams pushing for playoffs “barely” beat worse teams than Louisville this year.

They’ve scored 10 points on *checks notes* Louisville

Which is why you look at hat everyone did in their season and nothing else really. What else is sports?
