Dude gets mad pussy
Posted on 9/7/21 at 1:39 am to Paul Allen
Or Bryce Harper to a degree
Posted on 9/7/21 at 1:40 am to SirWinston
And Bauer gets mad at the pussy... What's your point?
Posted on 9/7/21 at 1:58 am to cubsfan5150
What? Harper is one of the better players in the game and an MVP candidate
Posted on 9/7/21 at 6:43 am to bg22
Check out Eugenio Suarez. All star 3B just a few years ago now one of the worst hitters in the game.

Bellinger has too many moving parts in his swing.
Posted on 9/7/21 at 11:01 am to bg22
I bet neither wanna square up with Correa either.
Posted on 9/7/21 at 12:34 pm to bg22
Its simple. Bellinger is too stoned to hit the baseball.

He's on the Dodgers post game show now and fills in for Orel Hersheiser doing color on the Dodgers broadcasts.

Bellinger is now hitting .162, 38 points below the Mendoza Line. And with very little power

Would you say that Harper has lived up to the hype that he received in the lead-up to reaching the show?
Posted on 9/8/21 at 9:47 am to cubsfan5150
Probably not but he’s still a great player by every measure
Posted on 9/8/21 at 9:55 am to ShaneTheLegLechler
Agreed... just stating that they anoint these guys so fast and most do not live up to the expectations. IMO Harper, while a very good player, was expected to be among the top 5 players of his generation and I don't think he's ever really gotten close to that

His swing reminds me of Adam LaRoche's. It looks nice and when he connects, the ball goes a long way, but it is too long and big league pitching has figured it out.

A little deeper look at the numbers.
Bellinger is hitting .162 right now.
He's hitting .151 with runners in scoring position
He's hitting .129 with runners in scoring position and two outs.
He's close to a guaranteed out right now

You have to wonder if the Dodgers consider non-tendering him this offseason.
Posted on 9/8/21 at 2:29 pm to VADawg
I would guess they settle with him on a one year deal less than what he would get in arb. But yeah they have to be at least considering it.

I'm hoping injuries are part of the problem. I'd like to see him get another chance next year if he's healthy
