This is ridiculous.
Masters easily.
And "a PGA Event" is not The Masters.
Thats even more ridiculous.

Masters I never felt overcrowded once. I did go on a Thursday so I’m sure that weekends are a little more crowded.

I’d love to attend the Derby some day. But there is no sporting event I would ever skip the Masters for.

All of the people playing in the masters play each other every weekend. The only difference is the grass is a little bit greener and the greens slope.
The Kentucky derby is the pinnacle of 3 year old racing which entails several qualifying races, it isn’t just another weekend on the circuit it is the one to win

This is true. You typically only get to see thoroughbreds for their juvenile and three year old seasons. Sometimes a Cigar comes along but usually they don't run at 4 and 5.
OTOH golfers play for 2-3 decades if not more.

Do you want to get drunk and be loud with your friends? Hit the derby up then.

The Masters is one of those things people are super weird about and think it is more special than it is. Derby is the right call.

The masters was one of the few things that lived up to the hype, it’s more of an experience. I’m sure the derby is a better single afternoon for partying

Would love both but I'd pick the Derby

lol…how’s this even a question?
Masters is WAY better (have done both).

I was at the Masters when Tiger beat Demarco in the playoff.
It was absolutely incredible.
The Derby is definitely on my bucket list.

Been to both multiple times. Kentucky derby is a lot wilder. I have not been in the fancy boxes there though. Also the couple weeks leading up to it are a lot of fun in Louisville and Lexington.
Masters would be my choice though easily.
Have never been to multiple days during one masters. One day is plenty though and it is crazy to be there. Then watch guys on tv and be like I saw him or stood there yesterday.

Been to both as well.
The Masters is the answer and it's not remotely close.

The weekend will be the same as a Thursday. They cap attendance during the tournament rounds to about 35,000-40,000 people. They let in 50,000+ during practice rounds. 35,000 people spread out over 350+ acres won't ever feel crowded. They are very strict about not having a crowded event, the only person you may have trouble getting close to is Tiger; but if you set up shop a hole or two ahead you can get as close as they'll allow.
That said, I've been to both and it's the Masters by a wide margin.

The Masters is, without question, the best-run event ive ever been to. Nothing is out of place, lines move fast, bathrooms are spotless to the point of almost actively being cleaned while you are using them. The amount of respect the crowd has for the event is something else too. Everyone that is there is just happy to be there. Everyone has a smile on their face.
I've been to regular weekend PGA events, Waste mgmt, PGA championship. The Master was so much better than anything else.
