The Chiefs were the inferior team on paper in all 4 playoff games.

Nobody expected them to win it. Most infuriating champion in a long time. It's the worst when the least expected outcome is also the least desirable, yet it still happens.

They have the best player on the planet. Same thing we saw from the patriots for almost 20 years. As long as patty Ice is under center for the chiefs they’ve got a chance

Don’t be mad.

Turn that frown upside down.

2005 Steelers beat the 12-4 #3 seed on the road, the 14-2 #1 seed on the road, the 13-3 #2 seed on the road, and then the 14-2 #1 seed (NFC) in the Super Bowl.
Big Ben was horrible in the SB but they got bailed out by the refs.

As a Steelers fan, I was just talking about this a couple days ago comparing what the Chiefs are doing to what we did in 2005.

No one thinks the Chiefs is the inferior team, paper or not, against the fricking Dolphins at home.

I totally disagree with your premise but tonight proved the value of having a historically elite quarterback.

Not against the Dolphins practice squad defense. Especially at home.

Other 3 games I agree. Very impressive by Mahomes and that secondary.

Both the Ravens and the 49ers inexplicably abandoned their running games. The Chiefs were helped along by stupid coaching decisions.

Please don't mix up what the Ravens did with what the 49rs did.
Not only did the Niners run a lot, they also were not efficient running.

Actually agree with you 100%. This was like the Giants 2 SB wins.

They ran twice in the 3Q at the end. That was where they lost the game. They gave the ball back to the Chiefs with a ton of time after multiple 3 and outs attempting to pass. Then in the 4th and OT they went back to running the ball. So while they didn’t do exactly what the Ravens did, they did abandon their running game after the half for no reason.

And that's why they play the game.

The chiefs offense looked totally lost for a significant portion of the season. Their receivers were downright terrible.

This was a surprising Super Bowl run but they are easily one of the worst championship teams in my lifetime.

But what’s the point? The Saints beat Kurt Warner, Brett Favre and Peyton Manning in 2009 to win the superbowl.

You know what is much more impressive than that - what the chiefs just did repeating as Super Bowl champs and winning 3 in 5 seasons.
