Don’t really get the Scottie hate. Why wouldn’t he take that drop if he’s allowed to? Why the frick would he not lol. Just looking for a reason to be mad.

He's got two par fives left so the two birdies part is doable. The problem is 15 and 18 are eating up everyone so he may need four birdies.

I think it’s the rule that’s pissing people off more than Scottie. It is very stupid.

I just don’t think players typically get TIO relief without finding their ball. Maybe I’m wrong tho

This is my gripe. Doesn’t matter who the golfer is, but being its Scottie just makes the announcers gloss over it. Similar to Tiger treatment back in the day.
I think Bryson is a huge douche and he was fairly penalized, but if this was him on 17 they would have dug into the ruling a lot deeper.

Sky Sports starting a solid hour of coverage commercial free, as opposed to their 3-4 max per hour so far. It’s an embarrassment of riches compared to NBC with their commercial breaks every 5 minutes. No way we get this next year. It’s too good.

Wait so apparently they said they did in fact find Scottie’s ball on 17 way after the fact.

It’s almost like they realized they fricked up and are coveting their tracks

Way too many free reliefs in golf. You make a shitty shot you should have to deal with the shitty consequences.

Is this why every time they blast it into the trees in the forest at Augusta their next shot is almost always somehow in a good spot?

Screw Scottie and that bullshite ruling.

No way he’s putting for birdie if they find that ball on 17, even with relief.

Yes. They have gotten way too liberal with application of free drops.

Hit it up against a grandstand and can’t make backswing? Well that grandstand wasn’t here in the 1800’s so let’s move your ball so you can chip it in and make birdie after hitting a terrible second shot.

14 is 3rd easiest hole today. Sam needs to birdie here.

15 and 18 are the two hardest.

17 is the easiest.

Are you referring to the grandstands that weren't there in 2025?

It doesnt even matter. It was there today and he hit his shot behind it. He should not have been rewarded for that
