The US Open returns to IMO its greatest venue. Scottie tries for his career grand slam. Bryson tries not to suck. Rory actually has to play golf again for like 2nd time in 2 months.

My guy Russell Henley has been playing well and I think he may finally be ready to bring home his 1st Major this year. But, this is a very hard course. Be tough to win there.

Bryson +188 to miss the cut seems like pretty good odds

Close out the career grand slam Scottie and put an end to Rory’s victory lap.

Kinda surprised Shinnecock still rolls with the stereotypical Indian logo
I know its a “conservative” country club but its still woke New York

Need that Scheffler career grand slam. Will be rooting for Scottie all the way.
Would be okay with a Fleetwood victory, but he can never fully get over the hump.
What are y’all’s predictions of the winning score?
2-3 under?

Cam Smith is a good longshot pick for this. A definite course fit.

Golf isn’t the same as it was 20 years ago. Tiger and Phil did so much for the game that I really don’t think we fully appreciated while in that moment. It took all these years later to realize how great that era was.

I love this course. A true us open in its unique toughness

Pebble Beach is way more picturesque.

The problem is if it's not windy, these guys tear Pebble apart now.

The conditions and greens, and Bryson’s temperament don’t seem like a great mix. Same for Rory.
Not a groundbreaking opinion, but this feels like a Scottie major and it could be something like -3 that wins.
Reed and Lowry as “dark horses.”

What? Literally every golf fan that lived through that era knows it was the greatest era we've seen Viewership when Tiger was in contention in a major was significantly higher than it is now despite there being more golfers now. Nobody is just now realizing how great that was
