Is there a second cut in the U.S. Open for those not finishing in the top 60?

15 is a big problem.

The rest seems pretty fair.

+7 or +8 and shoots a 66 over the chances of someone in the final few groups

+7 / +8 is pretty much the final few groups

If tomorrow is like today you'd have to be double digits over to have a chance to shoot 66

Wish they would kill the mics on the tee boxes and just use prerecorded sound.

The most double bogeys/worse in any event on the PGA TOUR this season is 296 at the Honda Classic. So far this week at Shinnecock Hills, the field has made 361 doubles/worse. The 2004 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills (where no player broke par in the final round) produced just 335.

I think the players are so used to target golf they’re struggling to adjust to wind change and green angles. These multi level greens are just killing them as they’re missing targets

And the Honda Course is basically Sea World while Shinnecock has one hole with water on it and it doesn't come into play unless you put your drive in the rough.
